What is Bridge2K?
The Christian Foundation

Executive Functioning
Early development of independence and organizational skills helps children thrive in learning. Practices include daily sign-in/out, personal learning spaces, responsibility for their area, and active participation in schedules, rules, and expectations.

Early Reading/Literacy Focus
Foundations in phonics, sight words, and letter recognition lead to comprehension and story understanding. Activities include songs, storybook creation, Level 1 readers, classroom books/comics, story wands, and reading/letter/sight word games.

Science & Social Studies Units
Science and social studies rotate daily, with topics shaped by student interests and questions. Activities include Science Spin Magazine, community projects, guest visitors, and month-long units for deeper exploration.

Early Math & Logic Focus
Early math confidence is built through games, writing, and challenges—showing that math is more than numbers. Activities include block challenges, measuring and critical thinking, adding/subtracting, and estimating, quantifying, and decomposing numbers.

Social & Emotional Skills
Success in school starts with strong social and emotional development—confidence, self-regulation, maturity, empathy, and healthy emotional expression. These skills grow through time, practice, and intentional activities like class community projects, “Look What I Did!” displays, individual/small/large group learning, and playtime for socialization.

No. They did not need to attend any of our prior programs in order to be signed up for B2K.
How does Registration Work?
Registration is year round based on availability. Once all of the spaces for the school year have been reserved, prospective families are welcome to be placed on a waiting list. If a family chooses to change the days, hours, or classes, a one week notice is required and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. All changes must be made in writing through our app, email or letter. All registration fees must be paid at the time of registration and accompany the registration form to guarantee the reservation of the space. Registration fees are nonrefundable and are required per child. If you are a returning family, there is a discounted registration fee.
Is there a deposit?
At the time of registration, a $100 deposit is required to accompany the registration form per child. This deposit will be held until your last payment for the school year. When your last payment would be will depend on the tuition payment plan you choose.
Do you use an App?
Little Zion Preschool uses the communication app called Brightwheel. Once you have registered at our school please download this app to your mobile device. Brightwheel is available for Apple and Android devices.
