Preschool Program
The Christian Foundation

Executive Functioning
Early development of independence and organizational skills helps children thrive in learning. Practices include daily sign-in/out, personal learning spaces, responsibility for their area, and active participation in schedules, rules, and expectations.

Early Reading/Literacy Focus
Include name recognition, letter and sound recognition as well as reading appreciation and comprehension skills.

Growth of Motor Skills
Growth of fine motor skills is also a focus of our program. We strengthen these skills cutting during projects, tracing letters and shapes as well as use of blocks and playdough.

Early Math & Logic Focus
Early math confidence is built through games, writing, and challenges—showing that math is more than numbers. Activities include block challenges, measuring and critical thinking, adding/subtracting, and estimating, quantifying, and decomposing numbers.

Social & Emotional Skills
Success in school starts with strong social and emotional development—confidence, self-regulation, maturity, empathy, and healthy emotional expression. These skills grow through time, practice, and intentional activities like class community projects, “Look What I Did!” displays, individual/small/large group learning, and playtime for socialization.
